Originally released on July 31st, 2018, Pocket City is coming back with the highly-anticipated sequel of the game ie. Pocket City 2. Yes, you heard that right as Codebrew games have officially started development on the sequel of its smash-hit game. Here’s the announcement tweet posted on the game’s official Twitter Handle.

When Pocket City was first released, the game earned a huge round of applause because of its total lack of microtransactions, mobile-friendly UI, and detailed yet accessible gameplay. Pocket City was the perfect game that every city building fan was craving for a long time.

The game sees you building a city by creating zones and special buildings, triggering fun events like throwing block parties or disasters like tornadoes, completing quests, and managing every aspect of your city including your citizens’ happiness, cash flow, traffic, and much more.

What is the Release Date for Pocket City 2?

There’s no release date for Pocket City 2 as of now but the developer mentioned in its official blog post that the game development will be hopefully finished sometime in 2021.

What are the new features coming in the Sequel?

3D graphics is the newest introduction to the game along with the development currently making use of Unity instead of previously used HTML5. No other features are confirmed yet, but the developer mentioned to be working on some new gameplay ideas. Expect a revamp of some existing features and the introduction of new mechanics.

What will be the Pricing of Pocket City 2?

The pricing will be similar to Pocket City ie. $4.99 USD  with no plans to add microtransactions.

What is the current state of Development for the game?
