Doodle Jump 2 is the latest sequel to the all-time popular game Doodle Jump. As we all remember, Doodle Jump was one of the best classics of its time. This game spread like a wildfire due to its easy & handy gameplay and positive word of mouth. I myself spent many hours back then playing this game and tilting my device all the time.

After releasing a lot of spinoffs and seasonal releases, it’s finally back with a true sequel in the form of Doodle Jump 2. I am very curious to spend some time and review the latest sequel of the Doodle Jump as it was one of my go-to games back in school time. Let’s have a look at some of the details of the newest sequel.

So, the screenshots above consist of the same UI elements as the original game. However, the cloud-style, doodler, and enemies graphics look all the same but are highly improved. There are several new characters in the game with a whole new progressions system. In the new progression system, the game puts you collecting stars with which you can unlock 8 new different characters. Each character contains its own enemy types and its own character-themed stages/worlds. And each stage/world has its own leaderboard in real-time.

The game is free to play with ads popping up quite frequently in the game. There’s an option to purchase the game with a one-time IAP of $4.99 that offers a completely ad-free experience. If you’re a die-hard fan of this game then you might consider spending some of your bucks as the ads in this game are pretty annoying and on a frequent basis.

Doodle Jump 2 is a new game with an old nostalgic look that contains a set of new features such as new leaderboards, shiny graphics, new characters, enemies, and more. For now, the game is available to download on iOS App Store with no info regarding the Android release.
